Michael and Anna’s elopement day was nothing short of dreamy, adventurous, and romantically sweet – just the way that an elopement should be. They actually arrived in Denver several days before their actual wedding day to explore the mountains and adorable mountain towns up here. We hopped in the car with them to scout a location out for their vow exchange and ended up accidentally finding Guanella Pass, which is now one of our favorite little quiet spots in the mountains!
This location feels perfectly submerged in the rockies and is surrounded by some pretty huge mountains - even some 14'ers like Mt Bierstadt. They started their day with some breakfast together before splitting up and having us meet Michael at a local barber. He ended up getting ready in our loft and Anna got ready in an adorable Airbnb that wasn’t too far away. We all met up at Guanella Pass for their first look, their vow exchange, and portraits. They even decided to replace the typical cake cutting for an intimate exchange of campfire s’mores on their way down the mountain.
We kinda fell in love with this duo, so don’t mind us as we keep our fingers crossed that they end up moving out here to the mountains someday. ;)
